It was Tuesday when one of Jey machans friend told us about the openings in his company INFORMATICA
as Technical support staff.
So we have planned for a Friday written test there. Booked train ticket for Thursday night. Journey was nice though it was midway raining.
The first disappoint in Bangalore was that train did not stop in our station and we had no idea where we were heading to and the time was 30 minutes past 4. So, we had to catch auto to reach our chitapa home.
In morning when we planned to go to our destine IT park where INFORMATICA was residing, going by bus was out of our mind. Because no bus in Bangalore had their route names spelled in English. Everywhere it was like jilabis spread ed over.
LED displayed Auto rickshaws meter was something i never seen before and i was amazed in going that thinking it will be cheaper. When we reached DIAMOND DISTRICT( an IT park). Auto meter showed rs 70 and auto driver showed me some chart which matched 90rs for 70rs and he said the rates have been revised. I dont understand why they revised the price and prepared a chart rather than changing the price in that bloody meter machine.
After the interview they said i am enough strong in DB but i have to improve my operating systems concepts. So which means i have to come back here once again going through OS deeply.
Then comes the bus journey part in Bangalore. We departed in a AC bus where i gave 100rs for 40rs ticket. Conductors have in BMTC have no habit of returning balances money to passengers, when i asked for change he was confused why i am asking, may be he doesn't know i am from Chennai. I got down from the bus only after getting my whole 60rs back. Not only in that bus in every bus i found that conductor were of same character. The real damn news is that no bangalorian travelling through bus means asks conductor the balance.
The only thing i found really good about this city is the climate. It was not very cold but we didn't sweet. Each and every nook of the city is filled with IT companies. There is no wonder why people call this city a fortune of indian economy. Its one of the wealthier city in india.
But, for my likes i didn like this city when compared to the city i am currently in.I conclude this post by saying only one sentance i am recently found using it a lot of times..
