It might be a disappointing for some if they were hoping for some upgrades in iPad segment. Which i seriously don't understand upgrade on what.

So, What else we have in the next generation iPad.
A new name, Yes Everyone was hoping for iPad 3 but Apple surprised by just calling it "The New iPad". Hope this doesn't mean the next iPhone will be called "The new iPhone".
Retina display technology used in iPhone 4s has made its entry to iPad. Ever since iPhone 4s released iPad2 display looked fuzzy and without a doubt we all know the next generation iPad will sport the retina display. No one guessed resolution will be unbelievable 2048X1536 . But it did! Which means 9.7 inch tablet withholds 264 pixels per inch.! Comparing to iPad2 132 pixels per inch this is a big big update.
Weird part is no existing camera in this universe (Except Human eye) can witness this beauty - Exactly Resolutinary !!
4G LTE technology. What exactly it is? Long Term Evolution is the next generation wireless data transmission technology. It is tested that 4G produce 8-11 Mbps of download speed and 3-12 Mbps of upload which is the fastest in all of the Apple devices in the market right now. You know, 3G is just getting popular in India. And i doubt 4G is going to play a huge role in India. Because its costly, aand cant get any other reasons Its damn costly. People here hate costliness!!!
May be if some could afford The New iPad they could afford 4G price when it starts working in India.
Same battery life as of iPad2. The strong 10 hours battery life as tested. The New iPad has 42.5 watt-hour battery comparing to 25 watt-hour battery of iPad2. Read some news that The New iPad has more operating temperature than iPad2. Well i guess it should be. 2048 X1536 pixels in 9.7 inch,please!!
Camera is of course upgraded. Same technology as used in iPhone 4s - Five element Auto focus lens. But 4s has 8 MP sensor whereas The New iPad sports only 5MP. Which i think for a tablet its the excellent camera and with options like Image stabilization and 1080p video recording its a big shooting upgrade comparing with iPad2.
Moving on to the important part. Heart of the machine. iPad2 had Apple state of art A5 processor. The New iPad runs because of quad core A5x processor. Nothing much upgrade except it has quad core graphics. Apple promised GPU with this processor is double compared to iPad2. Well it should be to produce this amazing retina display. Apple did not disclose on RAM but its found out The New iPad has 1 GB of RAM for quicker multi processing.
Bluetooth 4.0 is supported in The New iPad. But i have no idea what it can do. I think it should connect with PC or Mac to sync with iTunes wireless.
Concluding by saying i cant call The New iPad as the next generation iPad, but its a upgraded version of iPad2. There is nothing much improvement comparing iPad except for the Retina display and 4G LTE. So, if looking for tablet computer go for The New iPad. Its just 100 $ more than iPad2 and definitely worth it.
And yo Apple why no SIRI in iPad.?
