Coonoor! This Time!!

I have never lost contact with my Coimbatore friends, because i just couldn't. They are that good friends to have :)

So, when they planned for a one day trip to Coonoor for busting their tight stress, they did not forget me (Like always)!. My friend Bala did not ping me asking "Are you coming?" Instead he pinged "You are coming". And i did not ask where just replied him "Okay" (Like always)!

Meanwhile i am proud to say through this post that i have successfully accomplished a life time achievement that i always dreamt of. Yes, i booked a Tatkal ticket for the first time in my life, to Coimbatore from Chennai :D (I am sorry if you were guessing something else). Unusually, started early from office. Niligris express in Central station was waiting for me in Platform no 7. The express name Niligirs  exactly made exact sense to where i am heading :)  Train steered past Chennai and reached Coimbatore at 4.30 early morning . Reached my Good friend Karthi's room to refresh. Hugely surprised that Van we are to travel was arriving on time to the spot (This is the scenario that are likely to happen once in a blue moon).  And was even more surprised when i was informed my close friend Bala was the organizer for this trip (No offence). There was bit of surprise to folks who had no clue about my arrival to the trip.(Well, that's me!)

So, our Van got out of Coimbatore and got past Mettupallayam in some minutes. Songs as usual kept us busy on the way in the van. Reached the planned spot after some travelling done in wrong route (Like always). Nonsuch tea estate was the spot. Nonsuch tea estate produces one of the finest 'Nilgiris High Grown Teas'. It was the time for Breakfast. When we first saw the Kichidi parceled in a bag, there was bit of hesitation but it turned out to be unexpectedly good :) Then, the Tea estate tour begin. So this tour was on how the tea powder is a great piece of engineering. Let me tell its a big, big hard working process, and to be frank i don't really remember most of the stages they mentioned (Damn, my bad memory). Adding to it Photographs were not allowed inside the factory.

Then, the best ever trekking experience to a Waterfall present inside the tea estate. Weird isn't it. But its such a lovely place, after a tough and tired walk.. Waterfall was very lovely. People got wet immediately and i don't know why I never had an interest on waterfalls. Was clicking photos all around. Then we got back to a school for lunch. Lunch was awesome so did the school. From my childhood I always have something for Schools in hills . They are simply nice. Lunch was vivid. How can the Chicken biryani after a long walk go bad anyway?



Then we started off to a resort for Tea, and some snacks. Thats not the point i should make about the resort. We conducted and played some events in the open play area and loved the good time spent.  I don't even remember the names of the games we played, but i was part of most of it and what an amazing evening to end. Then an open chat on 'how are things' for about a hour i remember. Snacks were being filled as and when it got over (What a delight).

Then came the worst part of trip(Any trip). The journey back home, goodbyes and "Hoping to see you all again" messages being shared. Thanks again to Bala and Karthi for inviting me for the amazing trip at an epic-able timing.
I am really not sure weather i can see these folks again, but I truly wish to :)
