How it is to have a twin!

Many ask these questions to me -    Wow, you have a twin. Do you guys look alike?

                                                       Do you catch fever if he does?

                                                       How did your parents manage both of you?

                                                       Do you guys fight?

I clearly understand. It's not soo often you meet twins. Let's face it - Every class at least has one and there are very less chances to have them (both of them) in same section. So people do (still do) that wowing thing when I reveal that I am one in a twin.

So how is life as a twin? - Well, it’s interesting. You always have someone to share the happenings and vice versa. Basically you have the knowledge and experience of two people. For Instance, I would have never known this much about Film making/Cameras/Pixar/Books if it is not from my bro. And he would not know much about Arsenal(Football)/F1/Steve Jobs/Linkin Park if is not from me.

More than now, Childhood days were effective. See, you can enjoy Two player mode in Contra, Play Chess, Badminton, Cricket in back yard. There always someone you can play with. Apart from these we also tried studying together at home. Somehow we get distracted and end up chatting about Movies/Cricket. Studying together never really worked! Maybe because boring stuffs never interested us.

To answer the questions posted on first para –

1. Nope, we used to look alike when we were kids. But not now. Nothing intentional, we just changed looks based on our liking

2. No. This is one of the stupid questions to ask. Because, I myself asked some twins.

3. Hats off to our Parents. No - We were not mischievous, but imagine paying double the amount of your children's School fees then the tuition fees then the College fees and then supporting them financially until getting a job. That’s really something being in a middle class family.!

4. Sometimes. But always silly. Not going to give any instances here. You would eventually end up thinking we are bunch of idiots. So let’s just assume we don’t fight.
